Acoustic Panels Made of Paper Sludge and Clay Composites

چکیده
Studies on recycled materials emerged during recent years. This paper investigates samples’ sound absorption properties for panels fabricated of a mixture sludge (PS) and clay mixture. PS was the core material. The measured. We also consider influence an air gap between rigid backing. Different gaps (50, 100, 150, 200 mm) simulate existing acoustic panel systems. Finally, composite coefficients are compared to those typical commercial absorptive ceiling panel. average coefficient PS-clay (αavg. in frequency range from 250 1600 Hz) up 0.55. resulting made (but unfinished) is even somewhat higher than finished (finished) = 0.51).

Acoustic properties of 3D printed bio-degradable micro-perforated panels made of Corkwood Fiber-Reinforced composites
Introduction: Micro perforated panel (MPP) absorbents promise the next generation of sound absorbers as they have significant advantages over other porous adsorbents. In this study, we will investigate the acoustic performance of MPP absorbents made of biodegradable polylactic acid composite reinforced with natural corkwood fibers (PLA/Corkwood) by 3D printing technology. Material and Methods:...

Binderless Panels Made with Black Spruce Bark
The bark of black spruce was thermo-mechanically refined and used to manufacture binderless bark-based fiberboard with various pressing temperatures, times, and panel structures in order to utilize an abundant bark resource for a better value-added application. The test results indicated that it is technically feasible to manufacture binderless fiberboard with refined black spruce bark through ...
متن کاملAcoustic metafluids made from three acoustic fluids.
Significant reduction in target strength and radiation signature can be achieved by surrounding an object with multiple concentric layers comprised of three acoustic fluids. The idea is to make a finely layered shell with the thickness of each layer defined by a unique transformation rule. The shell has the effect of steering incident acoustic energy around the structure, and conversely, reduci...
